some of these ideas are common, like recycle, and buy food with less packaging, etc. But some are unusual. For example, a way to reduce waste, along with buying food with less packaging, is compost or vermicompost your food wastes. instead of sending it to the landfill to be perfectly preserved, feed the worms, and harvest their bountiful fertilizer( aka manure). or if worms freak you out, use a bokashi system, which can handle any type of food waste. use it in your garden, and never buy another chemical fertilzer again. grow your own vegetables, and if you have space, fruits, too. look up how to made laundry detergent that is simple to put together, and doesnt poison the environment. put together a neighborhood batalla verde( green battle), which is a mud fight with seeds in it, and do it in a place that needs a little "green". buy rain barrels to hook up to your gutters to collect water to use in your garden, or set out some bucket to do it, and save some water( and money). if your city allows it, get a couple chickens for fresh eggs, and since you feed them, you know exactly what they're eating, and if its natural or not. there are tons of green ideas you can find and things you can do to make our place to live a better place, and to give back to the earth. if there is anything you think is cool and that people should know about, feel free to comment. with earth day coming up, we should all do our parts, and do as much as possible.

Its good Nic ! you can add this if you like . Soaps and detergents can be made using natural ingredients like, ash is natural and cleanses better than chemical detergents and there many ingredients of your choice to create your own Eco friendly soaps !! I have minimized the usage of these chemicals in my house !
